After using any surfaces with enamel, make sure to clean up spills or contaminants right away using soap and hot water. Dry the surface with a soft cloth. For tougher dirt or grease, go for a non-abrasive multipurpose cream cleaner.

General safety instructions

  • Use only parts supplied by the manufacturer;
  • The use of a gas cooking appliance results in the production of heat, moisture and products of combustion in the room in which it is installed. Ensure the room has sufficient ventilation when the product is in use;
  • Never extinguish a cooking fire with water. Turn the burner off and cover the flame with a lid or a fire blanket;
  • The use of inappropriate hob guards can cause accidents;
  • Do not store items on the cooking surface of the hob;
  • Do not use steam cleaners or pressure washers to clean the appliance;
  • Do not allow oil or fat to build up on the appliance. Clean the appliance after each use;
  • Use the appliance for cooking only and not for anything else, for example room heating. This can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning and overheating;

Warranty on my caravan cooker, hob, or oven

Thetford offers end users of its products a three-year warranty. In the case of malfunction within the warranty period, Thetford will replace or repair the product. Purchased spare parts and accessories carry a one-year warranty. Any fitting and/or labour costs are not covered by warranty. Warranty claims have to be made with certified Thetford dealers.
