Why you should use the correct pan size for your Thetford cooking appliance

To ensure optimal efficiency, it’s essential to match the correct pan size with your cooking appliance. Using pans that are too small may cause poor stability and allows heat to escape, prolonging cooking times. Also, avoid overlapping pans beyond the edges of the appliance to prevent hazardous situations or damage to cooker knobs. Consult the appliance’s user manual for guidance on appropriate pan sizes.

How to clean the caravan cooker or hob

Depending on the type of surface, follow these instructions for cleaning your Thetford cooking appliance.

Glass surfaces

Be sure to promptly clean up any spills or contaminants on glass surfaces with soap and hot water. Dry the surface using a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt or grease, opt for a dedicated glass cleaner.

Stainless steel

Make it a habit to clear away spills or contaminants using soap and hot water right after use. Then, dry the surface with a soft cloth. For tougher dirt or grease, go for a non-abrasive multi-purpose cream cleaner and a nylon scouring pad. If you’ve got superficial surface scratching, a proprietary stainless steel cleaner or polish should do the trick.

Enamelled surfaces

After using any surfaces with enamel, make sure to clean up spills or contaminants right away using soap and hot water. Dry the surface with a soft cloth. For tougher dirt or grease, go for a non-abrasive multipurpose cream cleaner.

  • The use of inappropriate hob guards can cause accidents;
